Parent and Me swim lesson are for children ages 6 months to 3 years old and up to two of their parents and/or guardians. This class is intended to introduce infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through fun and confidence-building experiences such as exploring body positions, blowing bubbles, and learning basic safety skills. Meanwhile, Parents/guardians are introduced to water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision. Class goal is to enable both parent(s) and child to learn basic water safety skills needs to keep safe in the water and to learn to become comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills. ***Please note: a use of a floatation device may or may not be used in class based on comfortability of the child. Also, skills taught are not limited to the above mentioned.

Maximum of 23 families per class, so register early! Pre-registration is REQUIRED. 

If you are unable to attend a class you have pre-registered for, please let us know at least 2 days in advance for a full refund! Cancellation within 2 days of class will result in forfeiture of fee.

Eligibility

• No prior lessons or swimming skill needed
• Must be ages 3 Months- 3 years old

Rules

• Lessons must be paid in full prior to start of first lesson.
• No more than 2 parents and/or Guardians in with child at a lesson. Parents must be in the water with the child and may not sit on the deck during lessons.
• Please make sure your child meets the requirements/eligibility before signing them up for a certain class.
• Failure of child to listen to instruction, not work in a group setting, or causes multiple disruptions of class, may result in child being removed from class. If you feel your child would be more comfortable with one on one vs group please check out our private lessons.
• Missed lessons on the part of the student will not be made up or credited/refunded. However. Missed lessons due to weather, instructor absences, or BRY closer will credited/refunded. Front desk will handle credits/refund
• Classes must have a total of 3 registered participants 5 days prior to the start of the session for the class to take place. Classes with only one registered participant will be cancelled and participant will be notified. Participant can switch to another class offered, use credit on different lessons, or be refunded.
